February Floral Fashion Faves

For all you fashionistas out there, this one’s for you. If you’re a matchy-matchy person out there, this one’s for you. For all you floral-lovers out there…this one is for you!

I look at every day as a new opportunity to experiment with fashion. The possibilities are endless!

From the shirts to the skirts, the jewelry to the purse, the shoes, the hair and even the nails! (My nails always match my outfit.) Fashion lets you get creative with the colors and designs.

Since spring is almost upon us, I’m sharing one of my favorite outfits that I hope will inspire you. This spring number has a little bit of everything!

Floral Fashion Favorite

The floral shirt and purse shines in this number. This is a great outfit for work, as it’s worn here, or for a night out. It’s cute, classy, and it has just enough pattern to make it POP. The statement pieces provide a nice contrast against the solid-colored pants.

Since the shirt and the purse catches our eye, I kept it simple with the accessories. The gold wraparound floral ring covers most of my finger, while the rose gold watch accents the outfit and keeps the floral theme consistent.

I like to pair Pixie pants with pumps since I’m a little on the shorter side. These 2+ inch heels will give you just the right amount of height without sacrificing comfort.

By the time you put on those heels, those should stiletto you walk! Ba dum dah.

Make a floral fashion statement without breaking the bank!

Here’s a look at the items shown in the photos:

  • Shirt ~ Forever21
  • Pants ~ Old Navy, Pixie Pants in Goodnight Nora
  • Belt ~ Kohl’s, Apt. 9, Reversible Black and Navy
  • Purse ~ Kohl’s, Simply Vera Vera Wang Morocco Mini Convertible Satchel
  • Shoes ~ JCPenney, Liz Claiborne Baine Dress Pumps in Navy Pu
  • Watch ~ Macy’s, Fossil Virginia Shimmer Horn and Rose Gold-Tone
  • Ring ~ Old Navy

Sometimes fashion can be “edited” too. If you wear an outfit one way today, then you can wear it a completely different way in two or three weeks!

I think the only thing missing here, an “edit”, is a pair of shoes that pop. I wore subtle, closed toe navy heels this time since it was a cooler day.

Another great option is to pair the pants with some white, open toe heels. I’ll break out those shoes once the weather warms up by about 20 degrees!

The most important thing to remember is: keep it comfortable. Make sure you can walk in your shoes without blisters or falls. If something doesn’t fit quite right, then embrace your new size and treat yourself to an upgrade!

As long as you stay true to yourself, you will look good and feel good. So let’s step into spring…in STYLE.
