Twentysomething Vision is a lifestyle blog curated in Central Florida since 2015.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
We collect first name and email address when readers sign up or opt-in to our weekly newsletter. We collect this information to customize newsletter greetings so the reader receives a personalized experience.
Once reader provides an email address, we send the electronic newsletter, providing weekly to biweekly updates on blog posts and encouraging emails.
First name and email address is stored with MailChimp. You may read their privacy policy here.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on our site, we collect the data shown in the comments form. We also collect the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from the visitor’s email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if the visitor is using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here. After approval of a visitor’s comment, the visitor’s profile picture is visible to the public in the context of the visitor’s comment.
Contact forms
Visitors fill out a contact form when they are interested in media services, or when they want to contact the owner of the Twentysomething Vision website. We collect first name, last name, email address, website, and information included in a short message box. We keep this information for customer service purposes to follow up. However, we do not use the information submitted through the contact form for marketing purposes.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

We do not sell reader information and we do not use reader information for advertising purposes.
What automated actions we take with user data
When a reader signs up for our newsletter, we automatically send a welcome email via MailChimp. This welcome email thanks the reader for opting in, and provides links to the blog.
