Bloggers, creators, and learners alike: it’s time to kick it up a notch and listen to some inspiring blog podcasts!
These are easy to listen to in the car, in the house while you clean or wash or paint or create, and in the office while you blog. You can listen to these both actively and passively.
But…I’m not a blogger. Why would I listen to blog podcasts?
Whether you write, create, photograph, or read, these are some great podcasts that will motivate you to be a better writer, listener and interviewer. You’ll want to get out there and make things happen for yourself. These skills are useful for all professions and passions!
These are the top 5 blog podcasts that I’d like to share with you since these have inspired me after one or two listens! Check ’em out below.
1. Grammar Girl
- Focus: Quick, easy tips to improve spelling, punctuation, style, and common writing misconceptions. Mignon Fogarty is making grammar great again.
- Length: 9-15 minutes.
- New episodes: Weekly
- When to listen: On the way to work. Start off the day with new information you can apply in the office (or at home with your blog!).

2. TED Talks Daily
- Focus: This is a bite-sized version of TED Talks that gets you thinking…about everything. Come to the podcast open-minded. It discusses refreshing ideas from how our lives intertwine with music, what happens in our brain when we focus, and the story behind the artist who worked on Beyonce’s latest concept album, “Lemonade.” The podcast is currently #2 on the iTunes Podcasts Top Charts.

- New episodes: Every weekday
- When to listen: When you’re getting ready for work, during a lunch break, or whenever you need a quick bit of information.

3. Orlando Lady Boss
- Focus: Local podcast host / copywriter Diana Griffith interviews Orlando women in business who are passionate about making a change. There are some great conversations, from affordable fashion with a purpose to activism in the community.

- New episodes: Weekly
- When to listen: While working, while writing, when you need inspiration, or to overcome writer’s block.

4. How They Blog
- Focus: Blogging tips and interviews that are easy to digest and apply. Kat Lee discusses a variety of topics that includes starting a blog, the importance of consistency, and executing email marketing + social media.
- Length: 20-45 minutes
- New episodes: Unfortunately the How They Blog podcast is no longer live. However, it is a timeless podcast with 30+ episodes full of inspiration and expertise exactly when you need it.
- When to listen: On the way to work for morning positivity, at home for blogspiration.
- How to listen:

5. Becoming Fearless Style Collective Podcast
- Focus: Weekly dose of inspiration for entrepreneurship, leadership, and self-starters from Style Collective founder, Annie Spano. Style Collective is a blogger platform designed to educate and connect creators within the fashion and lifestyle community. The podcast focuses on interviews with industry experts. Annie’s honest voice guides us through blogging tips and tricks.

- When to listen: On the way home for easy listening, at home for inspiration to jump right into your side hustle.
